The news in the last few hours is that NXT talent Bull Dempsey has parted ways with WWE. Dempsey broke the news on his Twitter account as he took to social media to thank everyone down at NXT by saying “It's been real WWE NXT. Amazing group of coaches & co-workers & a helluva boss. Thank you for the opportunity Triple H. See ya down the road”.

Bull Dempsey’s most notable work saw him feud with Baron Corbin. The two competed to see how quickly they could defeat the "local talent", sometimes back-to-back. This eventually led to a match between the two on January 14, 2015, in which Dempsey's undefeated streak was broken by Corbin. Dempsey competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Qualification Tournament at Wrestlemania Axxess 31, but lost to Tyler Breeze in the first round. Soon after this, Dempsey's gimmick was tweaked to that of an overweight, out of shape wrestler who eats too much, which also saw him turn face in the process and Dempsey would go onto debut a new “Bullfit” gimmick.

It has also been announced today that it appears both Marcus Louis and Sylvester LeFort are gone from NXT as well. The two weren't on TV much following the split of their tag team, The Legionnaires. They briefly feuded with Enzo and Cass on NXT TV during their run. The most notable match of the feud was a hair vs. hair match which saw Enzo Amore defeat Sylvester Lefort. On June 24, 2015, after an 8 month hiatus from NXT programming. Lefort returned to team up with Jason Jordan in a losing effort to Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. In November 2015, Lefort, at NXT house shows, started to escort Billie Kay to the ring

It appears these are the first of many on the roster that could be facing the axe but for now it is these three that have left.
