The Philadelphia Eagles have certainly had an up and down season so far. But if one thing is to be absolutely certain, it is that their defense has taken things to another level in 2015. One of the key cogs in that now well oiled machine is linebacker Brandon Graham. On Sunday Night Football, against the Dallas Cowboys, Graham had his best game of the season so far.

Going up against the latest starting quarterback for the Cowboys in Matt Cassel, Graham was able to produce a total of seven tackles, with two sacks, and two forced fumbles. The seven tackles match a season high for him as he also had seven tackles back in week four against the Washington Redskins. He also had a sack in that game and also in week six against the New York Giants. It seems to be that Graham has his best games against familiar competition in the NFC East.

Graham certainly is still happy to be an Eagle and he is planning on being there for a few years, as he did sign with them this offseason for a four year, $26 million deal with $14 million guaranteed. That seems like a lot for someone who has had a season high of 5.5 sacks. But Graham seems to be on pace to pass that this season, as through eight games he has a total of four now after Sunday evening.

Graham will be looking to continue his success back home at Lincoln Financial Field in week ten as the Philadelphia Eagles will return home to take on Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins. If the Eagles can find a way to get ahead in this one, then they can use Graham more often as his skills are much better suited to the pass rushing schemes of Chip Kelly. Graham has often been questioned for if he is overvalued for those skills, but they certainly came up big in week nine to get him the VAVEL USA Defensive Player Of Week Nine Honors.
