With a blockbuster main event scheduled for the January 20th edition of Ring of Honor wrestling, they surely will not disappoint! Last week we witnessed The Kingdom be called out for a down and dirty fight by Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly of reDragon, but their choice of words brought out a different set of challengers. After hearing phrases like "reinvented the tag team scene" and "best tag team in the world", The Young Bucks felt required to make their presence felt. Matt and Nick Jackson told everyone that would listen that if anyone were going to take out The Kingdom, it would be them.
Nigel McGuinness says it is his job to make the fans happy, and what could make them happier than a triple threat tag team Philly street fight as the main event of the January 20th event! With The Kingdom coming in as the marked men, smart money is to expect them to walk out victorious. Adam Cole and Mike Bennett are too smart not to expose and exploit their opponents desire to destroy them, and turn them into distractions to walk away with a win tonight. And even as great as that sounds, Ring of Honor wresting is advertising a second huge tag team match up for tonight's show.
The Addiction will go to battle against the pairing of ACH and Alex Shelley. Will Shelley's former partner Chris Sabin have anything to do with the outcome? Will the Addiction get revenge on Shelley? Or will ACH and Shelley walk out with their hands raised and their heads held high? Only time will tell, but is Mr. Wrestling III's time almost up?
