The 19-year-old also enjoyed some first team experience with Pep Guardiola's side as he featured and scored in the Blues pre-season tour of China last summer.
Espanyol's Next Star?
Touaizi will initially begin his Espanyol career as a member of the club's 'B' team who currently play in the Segunda Division B - Grupo III, the third tier of Spanish football.
After signing a four-year-deal at the RCDE Stadium, the hope will be the prolific youngster will break into the club's first team outfit, and after the Pericos were relegated to the second tier of Spanish football last campaign, Touaizi's move up could come sooner rather than later.
