Swansea City youngster Kenji Gorré has returned to the club after a loan spell away in the Netherlands.

Gorré joined ADO Den Haag of the Eredivisie at the beginning of the season, putting pen to paper on a season-long loan deal with the club.

However, he has seen his first team opportunities limited since joining them and so an agreement between both parties has seen the deal mutually terminated, with the young winger returning to the Liberty Stadium.

Tough spell

The Dutch native signed a new three-year deal with Swansea in the summer, and two days later agreed a loan move to his homeland with ADO.

However, things have not took off like Gorré may have expected, with everything going right but the spell in the Netherlands underwhelming after he was offered few opportunities in the first team.

The 21-year-old made just five appearances in the Eredivisie, four off the bench and one as a starter, and so it comes as little surprise that the former Manchester United Academy player was decided to return to his parent club.

Chance at the Liberty?

With Swansea struggling and new management coming in, Gorré's return to South Wales could come at a perfect time.

The doors are open for him to make an impact on the first team, with him clearly highly-rated at the club after penning a new deal in the summer.

For the under-21s, Gorré had a splendid 2014-15 season, scoring 18 goals from out wide and adding 10 assists to that incredible tally. His efforts were rewarded too with him handed his first team debut in their final Premier League game of the campaign, coming off the bench against Crystal Palace.

Swansea have lacked real quality out wide this campaign and so new boss Francesco Guidolin could see him as a solution to this problem.
