When the Washington Wizards added Russell Westbrook and re-signed Davis Bertans during the summer, everyone expected them to be a contender to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

Scott Brooks team has not lived up to the expectations so far, and now they've suffered a tough blow for the remainder of the season.

Wizards Center, Thomas Bryant has suffered a Torn ACL and is expected to miss the entire 2020 / 21 campaign.

Bryant, a passionate player who brings a lot of energy to the team when he's on the court, was averaging a career-high 14.3 points and six rebounds on 65 percent shooting this season.

Robin Lopez and Moe Wagner are expected to step-up and play significant minutes for the rest of the season unless the Wizards sign a free-agent.

Bryant showed a lot of improvement this season, being able to work as a stretch 5 and shoot the ball from long range.
