Atlanta United return home to face the Columbus Crew at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Five Stripes are coming off of a 1-1 draw at FC Cincinnati and remain in tenth place in the Eastern Conference standings while the Crew are sixth following a 0-0 draw at home to Nashville.

Team news

The Five Stripes are still without George Bello, Brad Guzan and Miles Robinson who are on International duty at the Gold Cup. Ezequiel Barco is with Argentina at the Olympics. Mohamed Adams suffered a quad injury in Atlanta's last game and will be out for two to three months.

For Columbus, Luis Diaz, Liam Fraser and star striker Gyasi Zardes are also at the Gold Cup while Artur (hip), Milton Valenzuela (thigh) and Vito Wormgoor (thigh) all remain sidelined. Josh Williams is doubtful.

Ones to watch

Marcelino Moreno leads Atlanta with three goals and has also has contributed a pair of assists. He also has won 117 duels, which ranks him second in MLS.

Lucas Zelarayan has scored in two of his last three games and has scored from free kicks four times this year.

Previous meeting 

On November 28th of last year, Columbus picked up a 2-1 victory over Atlanta United, clinching the third seed for the Crew while eliminating the Five Stripes from playoff contention.

Zelarayan finished past Guzan with his left foot in the 28th minute to make it 1-0. Artur then played in Zardes, who doubled Columbus' lead.

Marcelino Moreno ensured a nervy finish when he beat Eloy Room from the penalty spot, but Atlanta were reduced to ten men when Franco Escobar was shown his second yellow card in the 91st minute.

The match will be televised nationally on ABC. Kickoff is set for 3:30pm Eastern time.
