Since Daniel Bryan suffered a concussion post WrestleMania 31 fans have been clamouring for his return. It's possible the WWE Universe could soon get their wish if PWInsider is to be believed. The website says that the former World Champion could be headed for WWE medical clearance tests this week with a potential spot in the Royal Rumble available on Sunday night. This is just pure speculation at this point but with a number of big injuries to top stars like John Cena, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins, Vince McMahon and the WWE’s hand may be forced to clear Bryan to return. 

A potential Rumble return? 

Since missing out on the Rumble two years ago, Fans have been demanding Bryan get a chance to earn back his title. When Bryan entered last years event at number 10 he was eliminated two participants later at number 12. This once again devastated the fans who want Bryan to be at the top of the card. With this years Rumble having the added incentive of becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Bryan could finally get his chance to reclaim the title he never officially lost.

A Yes! Yes! Yes! for fans 

Bryan’s return would have the potential to shake up a current stale WWE product and bring back the fans who have taken a break since his absence due to injury nearly a year ago. Before his injury break, Bryan was one of the companies top merchandise sellers behind only John Cena who is continually one of the top sellers each year. Bryan’s magical run to become world champion at Wrestlemania 30 captivated fans and got him over to point where he had 80,000 fans chanting Yes! Yes! Yes! as he captured the title. With the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura imminent for the WWE, Bryan may be once again campaigning to get the dream match on WWE television at some point.
