Jose Enrique is set to join either West Brom or Sunderland on the final day of the transfer window, in a move which will see the Spaniard end his four year stint at Anfield, following a £5million move from Newcastle back in 2011.

Enrique, who has played 76 times for Liverpool, has been completely out of the Brendan Rodgers' first team plans for some time, with only 12 Premier League appearances in the past two seasons, following 29 appearances for the left back during Rodgers' first season with Liverpool.

Mixed spell at Anfield

During his spell on Merseyside, we've seen a bit of everything from Jose Enrique. His eye catching pace and strong physique, so often a hassle for the opposition. His attacking threat came when Rodgers' attacking play was under full fluidity, with Enrique chipping in with two goals, and one of the passes of the season, when the Spaniard set Luis Suarez up for one of the Uruguayan's best goals in a red shirt, against Newcastle.

Enrique also found himself in between the Liverpool sticks against his former employers when Pepe Reina was sent off following a head butt against James Perch, after Kenny Dalglish had already made his allowed three substitutes. Enrique has also been known for his love of videogames, as he challenged his fellow team mates on social media.

Enrique has recently been forced to train away from the Liverpool squad, after being deemed to have a negative outcome on his team mates, and was joined by Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli.

Who will snap hi, up?

West Brom, who have already been busy this summer, most noticeably the acquisition of Rickie Lambert, while the scouse striker hasn’t been the only player to make the switch from Anfield to the Hawthorns, with Andre Wisdom spending the entire season last term on loan with West Brom.

Sunderland are also in the race for him, looking to bolster their defence after a horrible start to the season, from which they've picked up just two points from four gmmes.
