Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi through the door at Stoke City

Mark Hughes has bolstered his Stoke City squad with no less than three signings on Deadline Day, with all three deals loan moves.

Most notably, Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi have agreed season long moves to the Britannia Stadium, whilst goalkeeper Lee Grant has arrived on a six month loan from Championship side Derby County, in one of the stranger moves of an exciting day.

Hughes finally gets his striker

It's been no secret that Hughes was after a striker all summer, to compliment the exciting Potters side that he's built, which now includes the likes of Joe Allen, Bojan, Marko Arnautovic and Xherdan Shaqiri.

However, few expected the name to be Bony, with Stoke swooping late for the Manchester City striker after it became clear that he wasn't part of Pep Guardiola's plans. A proven Premier League goalscorer from his time at Swansea City, and in Manchester to an extent, he's a name sure to excite those in the Potteries as they chase a European finish.

Martins Indi and Grant also through the door

They've strengthened at the back too, bringing in Martins Indi from Porto on a season long loan after centre-back Philipp Wollscheid moved to VfL Wolfsburg earlier in the day. Left-footed, Martins Indi can play at centre-back or at left-back, and is expected to line up alongside Ryan Shawcross for Hughes' side, after they missed out on a deal for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho

Martins Indi in action for Porto

It's not yet known whether or not there's a potential permanent transfer in place for Martins Indi at the end of the season, but you'd expect interest if the loan turns out to be a good one.

The third transfer was of a much lesser profile, reserve 'keeper Lee Grant coming in as support in the goalkeeping department due to Jack Butland's injury woes.
