Swansea City face a tricky trip to fellow strugglers Stoke City, looking for their first win under new manager Bob Bradley.

The Swans will need a better result than last year's trip to the Potters, where they were forced to rescue a point after being two goals down.

Poor form

Bradley's side are in desperate need of a victory, having not won since the opening day trip to Burnley, and having secured just a point from the American's first two games in charge.

There have definitely been encouraging signs, however. They gave Arsenal a massive scare on the way to a 3-2 defeat, and held Watford to a stalemate at the Liberty Stadium last time out.

They face a tough challenge in the form of a Stoke side that have won their last two games, after starting the campaign with a seven-game winless run.

Stopping an in-form Stoke side will be a difficult task for the Swans, with former Jack Joe Allen bang in-form, and Xherdan Shaqiri is looking dangerous, after bagging a brace against Sunderland.

Team news

Swansea's largely inexperienced defence stood up firmly against an in-form Hornets side. Alfie Mawson impressed on his debut alongside young Dutchman Mike van der Hoorn who has looked solid since arriving in the summer.

The experienced full-back options of Neil Taylor and Angel Rangel currently find themselves confided to the bench as Kyle Naughton and Stephen Kingsley have impressed.

The Swans should be boosted by Modou Barrow and Fernando Llorente returning to fitness, with Jefferson Montero also not far away from a comeback.

There is less encouraging news for Nathan Dyer who faces an extended spell on the sidelines.

Playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson has been a consistent performer for the Swans this term and remains an integral part of the side under new coach Bob Bradley, and one of his main jobs will be to supply record signing Borja Baston, who could do with a consistent run of goals to settle him into English football.

Suprisingly, Leroy Fer was dropped against Watford, after a decent start to the season, the Dutchman will definitely be in the reckoning for a starting place on Monday night.
