After two consecutive losses in the league, Leicester City need to get back on a winning streak to solidify their stance near the top of the table.

Arsenal have, likewise, lost two of their first five games of the season so supporters could be expecting a close game between the top four challenging sides.

Form

In a press conference on Leicester City TV, Brendan Rodgers explained how he "feel[s] we didn't deserve to lose the Aston Villa game".

"it's important that we analysed the game and reflected on it".

With the loss coming down to a last minute winner in injury time, Rodgers' frustration is palpable and looking ahead the side will need to focus on being assertive for the full duration of the match to stop losing unnecessary points in such a competitive league.

He goes on to say how it was "important to get a good performance and result" in regard to the Europa League tie mid-week where they scored three past Zorya Luhansk, getting the win for their first game of the tournament.

Tough Schedule

With Leicester's last season success in gaining European football, what comes with that is a more challenging schedule of games, playing two games per week on a regular basis.

However, Rodgers looks on this optimistically. He said: "It's what we want these types of games. Consecutive games builds robustness and energy".

"For young players that's what we want. We'll look to design a plan over these next couple of days".

With the Arsenal game on Sunday and their next European clash on Thursday, he will need to look at the squad and see what changes he can make between the games to ensure victories for both.

Injury News

The promising news for Leicester is their injury recoveries as Rodgers addresses that Islam Slimani will be "back in the squad", being ineligible to play in the Europa League due to not being selected for the European squad.

He also explained that "Demarai [Gray] will be back".

What the Leicester fans are most concerned about is when their top striker Jamie Vardy will return from his injury spell, which looks promising as the head coach says:

"He'll train with the squad tomorrow [Sunday]. He's worked with the medical team" and "hopefully he comes through."

Opposition

After a tough season last year for the Gunners, they are starting to look stronger which Rodgers praises by saying:

"I think Mikel's [Arteta] done an excellent job. He's given them a structure and a base to play from.

"Since he's done that they've been outstanding. They work hard and have top quality players."
