Fourth takes on fifth in League Two on Tuesday night as Northampton Town welcome Newport County to Sixfields. Kick-off is at 19:45 GMT.

Northampton sit fourth in League Two and are outside of the automatic promotion places on goal difference following their 1-0 win over Walsall on Saturday.

Newport are just one point and one place behind the Cobblers in fifth after their defeat to table-toppers Forest Green Rovers at the weekend.

Forwards Benny Ashley-Seal and Chanka Zimba will definitely not feature as they are sidelined with longer-term injuries.

Newport will be boosted by the return of defender Josh Pask who returned to the side for their clash with Forest Green.

Timmy Abraham will be back in contention for the Exiles after recovering from a toe injury while Kevin Ellison is a doubt with a back strain.

Striker Louis Appere made the perfect start to his Cobblers career when he scored on his debut against Walsall at the weekend.

The Scottsman got on the end of Mitch Pinnock's free-kick ten minutes into Northampton's win at the weekend, with his goal being the difference between the two sides.

There's no doubt that the main man for Newport is the League Two top scorer Dom Telford.

The Englishman has had an excellent campaign for the County this season with 20 goals in 20 games.

Telford is leading the way in the League Two golden boot race ahead of Forest Green duo Matt Stevens and Jamille Matt who are both on 19 and 17 goals respectively.

Previous meetings

The sides have met 93 times previously with Northampton having the upper hand.

The Cobblers have 48 wins, with 15 draws and 30 wins for Newport.

The last time the sides met was in the reverse fixture this season back in September when the Cobblers won by a goal to nil.
