Another round of FIFA international fixtures is upon us, so it's time for a new edition of the power rankings. You can find the previous edition here.

The rankings are based on a combination of league performance (relative to overall strength of the league), European performance (Champions and Europa League), and my own personal bias and subjectivity. I also try to use the 'who has beaten or would beat who' rule in deciding between two teams. If you disagree with anything, feel costless to explain why in the comments below.

Bayer Leverkusen crack the top 10 for the first time, PSG and Juventus make the biggest moves up, and England can still claim the most members of the top 20. Here are the full rankings:

1. Bayern Munich (unchanged)

Bayern set a new Bundesliga record by going unbeaten in 37 straight games..

2. FC Barcelona (unchanged)

Messi's injury is a problem for Barça, but the rest of the team is stepping up. It's Neymar's chance to show Europe how he leads a top team.

3. Atlético Madrid (unchanged)

Atleti qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 in style, but could only manage a draw at Villarreal and fell to 3 points behind Barcelona.

4. Real Madrid (up 2)

Real Madrid earned a point in Turin, which is more difficult than what people are giving them credit for. Los Blancos command the UCL Group B but must continue to hope Barça and Atleti slip up ahead of them in La Liga.

5. Arsenal (down 1)

Arsenal didn’t end United’s season but instead gave the Red Devils new life in a tough 1-0 loss at Old Trafford.

6. Paris Saint-Germain (up 4)

A 1-1 draw with Anderlecht in Paris doesn’t look great, but PSG still control Group C and are pulling away from the pack in Ligue 1.

7. Borussia Dortmund (down 2)

An altogether terrible week for Jürgen Klopp and BVB. Defeats to Arsenal and Wolfsburg were compounded by the loss of Neven Subotić to a knee injury for the rest of the season. Despite these major setbacks, Die Schwarzgelben can get back in position to qualify for the UCL knockout round if they beat Napoli in front of the Yellow Wall.

8. AS Roma (down 1)

Roma’s hold on Serie A is slipping after consecutive 1-1 draws to teams in the bottom half of the table. The Giallorossi have a tough set of fixtures coming up and Juventus are looking ominous in the rear view mirror.

9. Juventus (up 3)

A statement win over Napoli puts the Old Lady firmly back in the Scudetto race, but she still has some work to do to advance to the Champions League knockout rounds.

10. Bayer Leverkusen (up 1)

Bayer Leverkusen are now tied for second in the Bundesliga and control their own destiny in the Champions League.

11. Napoli (down 2)

The Partenopei took a big hit from Juventus, and will hope they don't get knocked down further by Dortmund once the international break concludes.

12. Chelsea (down 4)

David Moyes did José Mourinho a favor on Sunday. His Manchester United side prevented Arsenal from going 8 points ahead of Chelsea, the team many view as the main threat to the Gunners title challenge. The Blues didn't look too threatening against West Brom though, needing a dubious last minute penalty call to secure a draw.

13. Liverpool (up 2)

Almost a third of the way through the BPL season and Liverpool find themselves in second place. As long as they have Luis Suárez, they will remain true challengers for the top 4.

14. Manchester City (down 1)

Manuel Pellegrini had his men in emphatic form with 7-0 and 5-2 demolitions of Norwich City and CSKA Moscow, but a 1-0 loss to Sunderland is impossible to overlook.

15. Zenit St Petersburg (down 1)

Zenit’s lead over the Russian Premier League is shrinking, but they hold a slight advantage over Porto with 2 games left in the UCL group stage. Both teams will face Austria Vienna and Atlético Madrid.

16. Porto (unchanged)

Tops in Portugal, but will likely need to get a better result than Zenit do against group leaders Atleti or else Porto are bound for the Europa League.

17. Manchester United (up 3)

Robin van Persie put United right back in contention for the title against his former club, with the top 8 teams in England separated by just 6 points.

18. Shakhtar Donetsk (down 1)

Shakhtar are back in provisional first place in Ukraine, but will likely need to win at home to Real Sociedad and then at Old Trafford to guarantee their progression from the UCL Group A.

19. Fiorentina (unchanged)

Despite their comparatively smaller resources in Italy, the Viola are mounting impressive campaigns both domestically and in the Europa league.

20. Olimpiakos (previously unranked)

Hard for me to say how good the Greek league is, but give Olimpiakos credit - they are top of the domestic table and in position to advance from their Champions League group. A worthy addition to the rankings.

The rest: Galatasaray, Schalke 04, Basel, Benfica, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Villarreal, Tottenham, Southampton, Lille, AS Monaco, Sporting CP, Borussia Mönchengladbach, VfL Wolfsburg
