Borussia Dortmund have named former-Ajax boss Peter Bosz as their new manager following the departure of Thomas Tuchel at the end of May.
Dortmund and Tuchel mutually agreed to part ways last week after reports of disagreements throughout the season and the club wasted no time in appointing his replacement.
Bosz left a young, promising Ajax team after the side finished runners-up in the Europa League Final and runners-up in the Eredivisie. Now the Dutchman takes over a young, exciting team in Dortmund with an extremely bright future. The 53-year old was in charge at Ajax for just one season, but with reports of internal conflict regarding training and philosophy, Bosz has moved on to a new project in the Bundesliga.

Bosz's deal with Dortmund is a short-term contract, running until 2019. but if he can guide a young team in Dortmund to success and silverware, his time in Germany should be extended.
The 53-year old becomes the second Dutch manager in Dortmund's history after Bert van Marwijk, and will aim to help Dortmund take the next step both domestically and in European competition.
Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc spoke highly of Bosz, saying, "Peter's coaching philosophy is a very attacking-minded one. A structured possession football coupled with gegenpressing." Zorc went on to praise the new coach's choice "to play young players in big games."
It's a step in the right direction for Dortmund and Peter Bosz, who will look to pick up where Tuchel left off in terms of developing young players and gaining ground on Bayern Munich. After a third place finish in the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal, their first trophy in half a decade, Dortmund's young guns will be preparing for a title charge next season and their development should continue under the watchful eye of Bosz.
Bosz will have the chance to help the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Christian Pulisic and Julian Weigl further their already promising careers.
