This week the UFC announced a few booking updates to two cards set for June. Bantamweight contenders Francisco Rivera and Alex Caceres will mix it up June 6th for the UFC Fight Night New Orleans card. Later that month across seas in Berlin featherweights Alan Omer will square off against Mike Wilkinson on June 20h.
UFC Fight Night New Orleans will be headlined by Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader and both Caceres and Rivera are looking to return back to the win column. Each fighter has a recent lost to Urijah Faber but still possess top 20 talent in the deep 135 roster. Both of these men were on impressive streaks and a win for either can get right back on track.
Fighting out of Leigh in Manchester, England Mike Wilkinson was last seen with a performance of the night KO over Niklas Backstrom. After a year off with a n injury Alan Omer is primed to return to the octagon. He was scheduled to fight back in January but had to pull out. He trains out of Germany so this will be more of a homecoming fight for him.
Tickets for UFC Fight Night New Orleans, which is headlined by the light heavyweight matchup between Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader, go on sale on Friday, April 10. The card will air live on FOX Sports 1.
