A fighter that many outside the WSOF landscape may not know of is the exciting 135er Timur Valiev. He has been added to the upcoming World Series of Fighting event WSOF 23: Gaethje - Palomino II on September 18, 2015. He will face the testy Tito Jones in a bantamweight showdown that will air on the main card shown on NBCSN. Also Brian Foster returns at 155 to square off against LaRue Burley to complete the televised portion of the card.

Timur Valiev (9-1) has added himself to the list of fighters to watch for in the 135 division of WSOF. Desperate for a contender to the impeccable Marlon Moraes, Timur may just be the answer the promotion needs, but first, he must face the seasoned veteran in Tito Jones (11-7). Valiev has run off nine straight since his professional debut and faces the former boxer in the main card event. Former Golden Gloves champion and protégé of Roy Jones Sr., Tito has never been knocked out in his nine-year career and will be looking for victory in his promotional debut.

The last time we saw Brian Foster (22-7) he was on the losing end to welterweight contender Jake Shields. During our interview with Foster, he said he had options in multiple weight classes and has no issue proving it as he drops down to 155 for his next fight. He faces promotional newcomer LaRue Burley (6-0) who is undefeated and has found success in promotions such as RFA and Bellator. In Bellator, he had a win against outstanding prospect Bubba Jenkins, beating him by TKO. Foster will be his biggest task in his young mixed martial arts career.

These two bouts finalize the main card for WSOF which will be headlined by a rematch between Justin Gaethje (14-0) and Luis Palomino (23-10) for the lightweight title. The co-main bout will be the inaugural World Series of Fighting light heavyweight (205 pounds) championship bout between David Branch (16-3) and Teddy Holder (9-1). Phoenix Jones (5-1-1) looks to rebound against Roberto Young (2-2) in what should be a truly exciting main card for the promotion.
