The most popular player in this coming year NBA Draft seems to finally have closed a sneaker deal ahead of his first season in the association.
The Athletic's Shams Charania reported that is just a matter of time for LaMelo Ball to sign a multi-year deal with Puma. 'Melo' would be the first Ball Brother to sign a shoe endorsement with a company outside Big Baller Brand.
The teenage point guard spent last season playing 12 games for the Illawarra Hawks of the Australia National Basketball League. Ball averaged 17 points, seven assists and seven rebounds per game, and was named NBL Rookie of the Year.
He is projected to be the No.1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Lonzo, who is currently a sneaker free agent, is a former No. 2 overall pick and is the starting point guard for the New Orleans Pelicans. LiAngelo, the middle one, signed a G-League deal with the Oklahoma City Blue and is the face of 'BBB'.
All three of them, Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo signed representation agreements with Jay-Z's Sports Management company, Roc Nation Sports.
