With the WWE's upcoming brand split nearing speculation continues about how the company plans to fill both rosters to create two shows with enough depth and quality to make them entertaining. It has been widely reported that the company is considering bringing back former talents with names from MVP, Carlito, and even Goldberg coming into the conversation.

This week Rhyno made his return to NXT and both Tajiri and Brian Kendrick are returning for the upcoming CWC, which shows that the WWE is prepared to re-sign former talent. All three of those men could easily find themselves involved in the company's brand split. Rhyno will likely stay in NXT and fill a void that will be left by talent moving up to the main roster, and he could be joined by both Tajiri and Kendrick

More stars

This week Dave Meltzer has reported two more names that the company is interested in bringing back for the draft; Curt Hawkins and Jimmy Wang Yang. Both men make interesting choices as neither had a particularly memorable singles career, yet both were good hands and decent in the ring which is likely the reason behind WWE's interest.

Hawkins is particularly interesting as he is best known for his time as Zack Ryder's tag team partner but now he is working in NXT with Mojo Rawley as the Hype Bros it seems unlikely that Hawkins will be joining his former partner.

Wang Yang's rumor seems a little bit more legitimate as he himself tweeted pictures backstage on Raw this past week and even teased that he as having a meeting with Mr.McMahon which could potentially be about a return in the near future.

New stars

As well as bringing back former talents WWE is also looking at new signings, in particular, Lucha stars. Volador Jr. and Rush are two names that the WWE are reportedly interested in according to NoDQ.com, and both these men would also help boost the depth in the roster.

Rush had a tryout with the WWE last year at the same time of NXT's newest star, Andrade Almas. With the brand split now just over a week away the rumors and speculation continues to grow about former stars and potential NXT talent's moving to the main roster continues, and the WWE Universe will find out just how true they are when the first live SmackDown takes place on the 19th.
