Seven Everton players from four different nations will be heading to France later this month to play in this summer's European Championships.
Ross Barkley, John Stones, Seamus Coleman, James McCarthy, Aiden McGeady, Romelu Lukaku and Shani Tarashaj have all been selected to represent their respective countries at Euro 2016.
England duo make the plane to France
Ross Barkley and John Stones were both named in Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad despite reports that Barkley was one of those under consideration to be left out as Danny Drinkwater, Andros Townsend and Fabian Delph missed out.
Hodgson is an admirer of the 22-year-old's raw and thrilling ability, shown through how Barkley has been selected in every England squad since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. A dip in form, a lack of confidence and claims about Barkley's physique has not seen Hodgson lose faith in the midfielder after a season that saw Barkley record his best ever season in front of goal and in terms of assists.
The 22-year-old is a potentially match-winning option from the bench, especially with his direct running against stretched and tired defences. Hodgson, England and Everton supporters will be hoping that the chance to play in a major international tournament and the belief he will get from being called up will help reinvigorate him.
Stones, who is competing at his first major international tournament, has had his own critics this season and he will be looking to force his way into the first-choice centre-back partnership. The 21-year-old faces competition from Manchester United's Chris Smalling and Chelsea's Gary Cahill for a place in the heart of England's defence.
Irish trio to face Lukaku's Belguim in group stage
Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy are set to be involved in their first major international tournament after being selected by Martin O'Neill for the Republic of Ireland squad for Euro 2016.
McCarthy, who was born in Scotland but qualified to play for Ireland through his grandfather, has been a doubt for the tournament because of a hamstring problem but he has recovered in time to be included in the final squad. There was, however, disappointment for midfielder Darron Gibson who missed out on a place in O'Neill's 23-man squad.
Aiden McGeady, who played for Scotland as a schoolboy, will be hoping to impress in France to prove to Roberto Martinez's successor that the winger still has a future at Goodison Park after spending the second-half of the season on loan at Championship side Sheffied Wednesday.
The Blues Irish trio will face Goodison teammate Romelu Lukaku in Ireland's second match of the tournament. The Belgian will be hoping to rediscover the form that saw him score 25 goals for Everton last season, although he has failed to score since March, but he has scored in each of his last two appearances for Belgium.
Supporters to get a glimpse of Swiss youngster
Everton supporters will be able to see new signing Shani Tarashaj in action in France after the 21-year-old was named in the Switzerland squad for Euro 2016 despite only making his senior international debut in March.
The Blues paid Grasshopper Zurich £3million for the winger in January but immediately loaned him back to the Swiss club for the rest of the season, where he also completed his national service. Tarashaj will be eager to impress before he links up with his new teammates at the start of pre-season in July.
