Eighth place will be taking on ninth in the Premier League this Saturday as Watford take a trip to the Midlands to face a West Bromwich Albion side, who are unbeaten in their last three league games.

Only one point separates the two sides going into this game, as both teams have enjoyed a very good season so far and could be contesting for that all-important Europa League spot later in the campaign.

In-form Baggies

West Brom have only lost four games all season, sitting in ninth after 13 games. They have bagged 17 goals this season already, which is half of what they managed throughout the entirety of last season.

They were just 18 minutes away from all three points aganst Hull City last time out, but Tigers' captain Michael Dawson's 72nd minute goal meant they left with only a point.

Many West Brom fans wanted Tony Pulis out ahead of this season, however after picking up seven points in their last three games and just seven points behind the Europa League spot, they may be willing to give the Englishman a little more time now.

Watford defeat last time out

Watford, meanwhile, had a disappointing defeat in their last game as they lost 1-0 at home to Stoke. Walter Mazzarri's men will be looking to get back into winning ways on their trip north this weekend.

Stoke managed to master Watford’s 3-4-3 formation, with their Italian boss admitting that the visitors surprised them in midfield. They will hope to avoid a similar story here, given they could move into sixth with a win.

Last meeting between these two

The last time these two teams met was towards the end of last season at the Hawthorns as Watford took all three points securing their top flight status for another season.

Ben Watson scored the only goal of the game and Heurelho Gomes enjoyed an outstanding performance, saving two penalties from Saido Berahino in the second half.
