Another round of matches passed by in the Division 1 Féminine and although there were no changes at the top, some teams continue to impress this season.

Paris 5 - 0 Bordeaux

After only picking up one win in five matches, a change at the manager position has seemingly righted the Paris FC campaign this season. Sandrine Soubeyrand has come in and given the team a new lease fo life and that self-belief was evident when they scored five against a FC Girondins de Bordeaux side that has proven to be a tough team to beat. Linda Sällström gave the home side a fast start with a goal within the first minute of the game when Gaëtane Thiney nicked the ball off of a Bordeaux defender in their own half before picking out Sällström inside the penalty area. Mathilde Bourdieu then scored two goals in the 14th minute and 35th minute to give the hosts a commanding lead at half time. Paris continued to impress in the second half as Thiney herself got on the scoresheet in the 57th minute and then Sällström finished things off with a goal in stoppage time.

This could easily have been a game that all the momentum Paris had gathered over the last few matchdays would be lost but instead, the Soubeyrand effect seems to be gathering momentum. With the win, Paris leapfrog over Bordeaux into third while Bordeaux, who were completely outplayed this weekend, slide down into fourth.

Metz 0 - 5 OL

FC Metz were not expected to get anything out of the match against the visiting champions, Olympique Lyonnais and that proved to be the case as OL scored five without answer this past Saturday. Ada Hegerberg continued her campaign to be the league's top goalscorer for another season with goals in the seventh and 55th minutes but the biggest story has to be that of the return of Dzsenifer Marozsán who started her first match this season. Marozsán was instrumental in the build up for OL's first two goals, Hegerberg's first and a ninth minute goal by Emelyne Laurent, to put OL ahead by two goals at the break. Delphine Cascarino scored the fourth in the 62nd minute and Amel Majri got her sixth of the season in the 80th minute.

OL stay ahead of the pack with a two point lead and are showing no signs of slowing down or being unable to grab a win in any situation, which should be troubling for those challenging them. Metz continue to struggle and have now lost all eight of their games this season. Their hopes of moving off the bottom of the table are beginning to get smaller and smaller with each week.

PSG 1 - 0 Guingamp

En Avant de Guingamp made Paris Saint-Germain's life difficult this weekend but the Parisiennes managed to get the goal they needed. After failing to breach the Guingamp goal for 73 minutes, Marie-Anoitnette Katoto proved to be the hero on the day for PSG. She and Kadidiatou Diani have formed a great partnership in PSG's attack and the two combined to produce the only goal of the game.

The three points keeps PSG within touching distance of OL but their performances will have to improve drastically from what they showed this weekend if they have any hopes of winning the title this season. Guingamp slides down into seventh with this loss but they will take a lot of heart from how well they coped with one of the league's biggest teams.

Lille 1 - 1 Montpellier

Montpellier HSC seemed to be back on track after their win last weekend but stumbled away to Lille OSC this time around. Stina Blackstenius gave the away side the lead in the 24th minute when she finished off a sweeping move that saw Clarisse Le Bihan pick her out inside the box. Lille found a new gear after conceding that goal and got back on level terms in the 36th minute when Danielle Tolmais popped up at the near post to finish well past the goalkeeper.

The draw was not what Montpellier would have wanted after seemingly turning a corner last time out. They sit eighth, already 14 points off of the top of the league and falling further away from a UEFA Women's Champions League spot. There is still plenty of time for them to move up the table again but dropping points against teams like Lille will not help their cause. Lille will be delighted with the draw though, after losing their last game. They're still five points off of the relegation zone in tenth but this result could help them push their season forward once again.

Fleury 1 - 1 Soyaux

FC Fleury 91 and ASJ Soyaux battled it out for a draw this weekend against each other. Julie Machart put Fleury ahead in the 24th minute with a diving header but Laura Bourgouin converted from the spot in the 48th minute to bring Soyaux back into the game. Neither side could find a winner after that despite trying their luck and it ended with points shared between the two.

Fleury have now drawn their last five matches which leaves them in sixth, a respectable position but they will want to start picking up wins again in the near future to avoid being pushed further down the table. The draw was more costly for Soyaux who are now in ninth place after only winning one game in their last five.

Dijon 1 - 1 Rodez

Dijon FCO and Rodez AF also played out a 1-1 draw this weekend as both teams tried to find a win for themselves. A 17th minute counter by Rodez gave them the lead thanks to a lob over the goalkeeper by Clara Noiran but seven minutes later, Tatiana Solanet scored from the penalty spot to bring the home side level again and that was how the match ended.

Rodez are still very much in trouble this season having only picked up their second point of the season against Dijon. They will need to do more within the coming weeks to avoid being completely cut adrift from the rest of the table. Dijon now sit in fifth after the draw and will be happy with their recovery not only in the match but after losing last time out.
