The Preparations-

Today the club have released a piece on what is next for the fans of the club. From season ticket information to photo identification there was a lot to take from the article.

Firstly, it is looking like at this moment in time fans in small commodities are going to be aloud back into the Etihad come October. The club are working with the government guidelines to ensure they are working safely to guarantee a risk free experience when the time comes that the turnstiles can finally open again.

This means they are not going to be asking supporters to renew their  Seasoncards for the upcoming season. This is for two reasons, the fact that a full season's worth of games is not assured and the club do not want people to financially commit to something that may be subject to change, depending on government guidelines/ Premier League guidelines/ The department for digital, culture, media and sport guidelines.

Attending Matches-

Due to the fact that Seasoncard supporters cannot renew there membership this means that all fans are put into a ballot for match tickets but the 19/20 Seasoncard holders will be given priority. The Etihads reduced capacity ruling means that the stadium seating is going to be 'Pre-defined' to ensure that all fans are going to be safe. For those fans who cannot or do not want to return to the Etihad this season the club are retaining the option to renew the Seasoncards for the 21/22 season. If there is any chance and the club chooses to offer out the half season ticket option like some clubs do around Christmas these will be available for purchase or renewal.

There will be also details revealed  closer to the time about things such as food and drink information during the match and ballot ticket information. Fans must ensure they have renewed there details so the club know exactly who is entering the stadium and when. This is due to the governments track and trace scheme. This means you may be asked to provide a valid form of photographic identification upon entering the group.
