New Liverpool Boss, Jurgen Klopp has reportedly given Joe Allen permission to find a new club as he doesn't see the former-Swansea man as part of his plans.

Rodgers revolution

Joe Allen was one of Brendan Rodgers' first signings as Liverpool boss, which is probably why he wasn't sold under the Northern Irish manager. Swansea sold him to Liverpool for £15 million in 2012 and now, after not getting that much playing time, Liverpool would struggle to get half of that price.

Joe Allen was one of the vital players for Swansea's rise from the depths of the Football League to the glitz and glamour of the Premier League. He didn't start to properly feature for the Swans until the season of 2010 when he caught Brendan Rodgers' eye after a collection of quality perfromances. He then went on to be Swansea's main midfielder in their Championship promotion, he carried that good form into his maiden top flight campaign before securing a big-money move to Merseyside following his manager's departure to Liverpool.

Klopp's arrival

Ex-Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp, has only taken charge of three Reds' games so far but has already showed his intent at getting rid of the 'dead wood' he sees in the Liverpool side. After signing new midfielders in the summer, Joe Allen has even less of a look-in at a starting place, which could signal an end to his Liverpool career. The Welsh central midfielder also doesn't seem to fit the style Klopp has tested so far with Liverpool and that he deployed with his successful Dortmund side. He likes to play a fast-paced one-touch passing game when in possession and an intense pressing game when out of possession. Whereas Allen's game is based around a relaxed, slow passing game and a sit-back defensive style.

The teams who are reportedly interested in his signature are Leicester, Southampton and Stoke, as well as the possibility of Brendan Rodgers' new team wherever he chooses to go. Allen's price tag would be massively reduced from the £15 million that Liverpool forked out for him and the mentioned teams might be able to get the 25-year-old for around £10 million. He would be a solid addition to all of the above teams whether it to be for a starting place or to increase the competition for places.

Although Allen hasn't started a single game for Liverpool this season, don't be surprised to see him pulling on the shirt of another Premier League side before the season's out, it just depends on which team it turns out to be.
