Le 10 Sport reports suggest AS Roma's Ivorian forward Gervinho is a target for United Arab Emirates based Al Jazira.

Many French media outlets say the pair will meet and put pen to paper on a deal between tonight and tomorrow.

The Asian side have former Serie A forward Mirko Vucinic and former Ligue 1 winger Jonathan Pitroipa in their ranks as well as former Anzhi midfielder Jucilei

It is alleged that the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium outfit will pay up to €15 million for Gervinho's services, a fee almost double what Roma paid for him in 2013. Gervinho penned a five year deal upon joining the capital club and still has three years to run on it.

Last term the twenty-eight year old made thirty-four appearances in all completions, in which he popped up with seven goals and six assists as Roma finished second in the league to Juventus.

If any move is to materialise Gervinho will join the small contingent of Ivorian's playing in the UAE League which currently sits at three players.
