Last weeks Raw was… well, a bit uneventful to say the least. The last 10 minutes did, however, give us a glimpse of the sheer destruction that can be wrought by an angry Brock Lesnar. After being given an ultimatum by the villainous Stephanie McMahon that he must compete in this year’s Royal Rumble, Lesnar took out his frustrations on the WWE roster. He assaulted all of the competitors in the “One vs. All Match”. Lesnar punctuated his point with a devastating F5 to WWE champion Roman Reigns. Lesnar and his advocate Paul “I am the Walrus” Heyman will be joining Chris Jericho on “The Highlight Reel”.

What are the odds that this segment will end without an interruption or two? Lesnar destroyed almost every heel on the roster and the world champion. Look for Reigns or Kevin Owens to interject themselves into the proceedings. This segment may seem like a throwaway on paper, but it could plant the seeds for either the WWE title match at WrestleMania or a feud that leads to a high profile match at WrestleMania. If they are interested in the rumored Kevin Owens/Brock Lesnar match, Lesnar assaulting Owens is a logical way to explain why the match is happening.

Alberto Del Rio regained the United States title during a rematch against then Champion Kalisto on Smackdown this past week. Rumor has it there will be a return match this week on Raw. It is interesting that Kalisto wouldn’t enact his rematch clause for the Royal Rumble. Considering how the last mast ended, the League of Nations will most likely turn this into a total cluster.

With the WWE title being on the line, Sunday’s Royal Rumble match may be the most important Rumble match in history. Will Reigns somehow defy the odds and retain? Will we see a new champion crowned? As we approach the Rumble, WWE superstars have been coming out of the woodwork to declare that they will be in the match. The list of confirmed superstars in the match are as follows:

-        WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns

-        Brock Lesnar

-        Sheamus

-        Chris Jericho

-        Stardust

-        Bray Wyatt

-        Erick Rowan

-        Luke Harper

-        Braun Strowman

-        Dolph Ziggler

-        Ryback

-        Big Show

-        Curtis Axel

That leaves a little over 15 open slots left. Expect a few more participants to be announced during Raw. It is highly unlikely that we would go into a Rumble and have so many unconfirmed spots in the match. The Rock announced that he would be at WrestleMania this year. There is a chance it may be announced that Rock will be in the Rumble match. This would be the Raw to announce it.

Rumors are running rampant that we are going to get the next WWE Hall of Fame induction announcement soon. Who will it be? Will we get the announcement this week? Several names have been noted as potential inductees: Big Van Vader, the Fabulous Freebirds, and even the Undertaker. Stay tuned to find out.

Raw will air Monday at 8 P.M. EST. Stay tuned to VAVEL USA's continued coverage of RAW, Smackdown and all things Pro Wrestling
