Drew Hanlen has been one of the most popular NBA trainers in the country due to his work with some of the game biggest stars.

In just a couple of years since creating his brand Pure Sweat Basketball, Hanlen has managed to host great runs over the summer as well as adding players to his elite clientele.

All-Stars

The work from the Belmont University Alum is second to none. Recently, three players who work with him - Boston Celtics' Jayson Tatum, Philadelphia 76ers' Joel Embiid and Chicago Bulls' Zach LaVine - have all been named 2022 NBA All-Stars.

Work with Jayson Tatum

The Celtics wing Tatum has been working with Hanlen since he was 13 years-old, being as they are both natives from St. Louis, Missouri.

"Drew (Hanlen) is a big reason I am the player I am today," Tatum said about the NBA trainer"He has really improved my game since I was 13, and continues to find ways for me to improve and always get better."

Hanlen has been spotted multiple times sitting courtside at the TD Garden in Boston watching Tatum put on a show with the Celtics.

This season, the 23 year-old old is averaging 25.9 points per game and 8.4 rebounds while shooting 43% from the field.

Hanlen has also worked with Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal as well as with New York Knicks guard RJ Barrett, Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro, and many other high-profile players.

One of the most important aspects as a trainer is to be able to understand the game and the mind of the player they are working with. Hanlen has successfully done both, and that is why he is considered one of the best trainers in the world.
