England were undone by two second half goals as the Three Lions lost their first game at Wembley since 2013 in defeat to the Netherlands.
Jamie Vardy put the hosts ahead, but goals from Vincent Janssen and Luciano Narsingh ensured the visitors left with the win.
How did the England players fare on a frustrating night at Wembley?
Indifferent performances from the England defence
Fraser Forster (6): The Southampton man made a number of good saves and kept out Janssen’s effort after a slip from John Stones.
Kyle Walker (6): Walker was a threat going forward, getting beyond his marker on several occasions and assisted the opening goal.
John Stones (7): Despite his error that eventually led to a penalty, Stones started off the move that led to England’s goal and created a chance for Theo Walcott following a terrific pass.
Chris Smalling (6): A solid performance from the 26-year-old. Didn’t do a lot wrong.
Danny Rose (6): Always a threat going forward, however, was disappointing in the final third. The Tottenham Hotspur defender was also penalised for a handball inside the box in which the Netherlands converted.
Drinkwater shines on England debut
Danny Drinkwater (8): An impressive debut from the Leicester City midfielder. Showed great composure on the ball throughout and did his defensive duties well.
James Milner (5): The majority of Milner’s corners found the gloves of the Holland shotstopper and the stand-in captain was substituted early into the second half.
Ross Barkley (5): Wasn’t as effective in an England shirt in comparison to recent games, although he did go close in the second half when he fired just wide.

Adam Lallana (7): Played a wonderful pass to Walker for Vardy’s goal and showed good footwork in tight situations.
Daniel Sturridge (5): Played a key part in his side's goal but that was as good as it good for the striker.
Jamie Vardy (7): Took his goal well and could have had a second but was denied by a fantastic save.
Substitutes
Theo Walcott (6): Went close on a couple of occasions and looked menacing when running at the Netherlands defence.
Nathaniel Clyne (5): Didn’t do anything noteworthy.
Harry Kane (5): The forward didn’t get a lot of service when he came on, although dragged a shot wide after creating a half chance for himself.
Phil Jagielka (5): Looked comfortable but didn’t play long enough to get a fair rating.
Dele Alli (5): Didn’t do anything noteworthy.
Eric Dier (5): Didn’t do anything noteworthy.
