Manchester United face stiff competition as they come up against Sevilla in the Europa League semi-final on Sunday in what will prove to be a test for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

The Spanish side are what would best be described as Europa League experts having won the competition a record five times, including three years on the bounce in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

There is no doubt that this will be Man United's toughest opponent in this season's European campaign as the Red Devils will have to deal with the array of talent featured in Julen Lopetegui's squad.

  • Which players should United watch out for?

Jules Koundé

21-year old centre-back Jules Koundé has been like a man possessed in defence this season, comfortably dealing with most attacks that come his way.

Alongside Diego Carlos, the former Bordeaux man has helped his side keep 23 clean sheets (the most in La Liga this season) while only suffering six defeats (club record) and conceding just 34 goals.

As a result, the Frenchman is said to have attracted his fair share of admirers, namely Barcelona who he has been heavily linked with following the uncertainty over the future of Samuel Umtiti.

Koundé could provide tricky opposition to inform Anthony Martial when the compatriots lock horns in Sunday's match.

Sergio Reguilón

Much like Koundé, Sergio Reguilón has been vital to Sevilla's defensive success having performed admirably at left-back on loan from Real Madrid.

With the ability to use his pace to get up and down the left-hand side, the 23-year old loanee has demonstrated an ability to hold off defenders and protect his fellow defenders whilst also contributing to his team's attack having chipped in with three goals and four assists.

Despite his impressive showing for Sevilla, Spanish media outlet AS have reported that he is deemed surplus to requirements at his parent club. However, the Spaniard has attracted interest from various clubs with Chelsea the favourites to capture his signature.

Reguilón could even be a great option for United in the transfer market if Solskjaer wishes to strengthen the left-back position.

Lucas Ocampos

Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos is the key to Sevilla's attack, he is their top scorer this season with 17 goals in all competitions and may prove to be a tough task for Brandon Williams.

There is no doubt the 26-year old knows where the net is and despite only scoring one goal in the Europa League, you cannot rule out him grabbing a second in this game as possesses the ability to produce a moment of genius out of nothing.

Arguably the most dangerous player on the pitch in most games, he is definitely one to look out for.
