The Sky Bet League Two fixtures for the 2020/21 season have been released.

New boys Barrow and Harrogate Town discovered their fates, the first set of EFL fixtures in the latter's history, whilst Bolton Wanderers announced the games for their first season in the fourth tier in 32 years.

Opening Day

Barrow enjoy home comforts on September 12 as they welcome a Stevenage side who survived in the division last season owing to Macclesfield Town's points deductions.

Harrogate travel to Roots Hall to take on newly relegated Southend United, whilst fellow relegated side Tranmere Rovers go to Mansfield Town and Bolton host Forest Green Rovers. The away side played their football in the seventh tier when Wanderers were last at this level.

Last season's play-off final losers Exeter City make the journey to Salford City, the hosts are heavily favoured to challenge for promotion this season, as another Greater Manchester side in Oldham Athletic take on Leyton Orient. Bradford City play Colchester United and Cambridge United host Carlisle United

Morecambe go to Cheltenham Town to start their 14th consecutive season in League Two with Port Vale and Walsall hosting Crawley Town and Grimsby Town respectively, the latter being a dark horse in the race for a playoff spot.

Finally, Scunthorpe United play Michael Flynn's Newport County at Glanford Park.

Derby Days

Colchester have to wait until Boxing Day for the first Essex derby of the season, Southend make the return journey on April 20.

The Shrimpers travel to Leyton Orient four days after Christmas and host the O's four days after the journey to Colchester on April 24.

The festive period is packed full of derbies, December 19 marks the first Lincolnshire derby of the season with Grimsby hosting Scunthorpe. The reverse fixture is just over a month later.

December 19 also marks Staffordshire sides Walsall and Port Vale going head-to-head before their reverse on the very same day as the Lincolnshire derby, January 23, a like-for-like match.

Bolton, meanwhile, have plenty of derbies to get excited about. They host Tranmere and Morecambe in December, Oldham in October and Salford in November, before making the short journeys to each in the second half of the season.

Cheltenham take on Forest Green in the Gloucestershire derby on October 31 and January 30.

Final Day

Barrow make the 300-mile journey to Exeter to end their first season back in League Two since 1972, as Harrogate go to Cheltenham.

Bolton will be aiming to bounce back to the third-tier in an away clash with Crawley, though big spenders Salford will be one of many clubs hoping to turn the tide on their promotion hopes, they host Leyton Orient.

Tranmere play Colchester and Port Vale host Mansfield, those four all touted to be up there this season, as well as Southend who take on Newport.

Scunthorpe and Stevenage do battle in Lincolnshire, Forest Green travel to Oldham, Morecambe host Bradford, Carlisle play Walsall and Grimsby go to Cambridge.
