Southampton manager, Ralph Hassenhuttl, has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award.
The Saints boss guided Southampton to an unbeaten October with two wins and a draw.
Clean sheets and wins over Burnley and West Brom and a scintillating last minute goal to earn a 3-3 draw with Chelsea was enough to gain the nomination.
Hassenhuttl is one of five managers up for the award with Nuno Espírito Santo, Jose Mourinho, David Moyes and Dean Smith all competing.
It's a good turn around in form for the manager who started the 20/21 campaign with defeats to Crystal Palace and Tottenham, whilst also being knocked out of the EFL Cup to Brentford.
Since then, the Saints have only dropped two points from a possible 15, and currently sit in 7th ahead of the 8th week of matchdays.
Hassenhuttl won the manager of the month award once before as Southampton manager back in July 2020.
He became the first Austrian to ever win the award, after playing four games that month, winning three and drawing another.
