Patrick Bamford has won the PFA Fan's Bristol Street Motors Premier League Player of the Month award for September and October.

The Leeds United striker picked up the award after winning the public vote over other Premier League competitors.

Jamie Vardy, Jack Grealish, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane were all nominated for the award alongside Bamford.

The award highlights the phenomenal start the striker made to the new campaign as he bagged six goals in as many games.

It all started as Bamford opened his tally against reigning champions Liverpool where he scored a fantastic goal in a 4-3 defeat.

He then went on to produce another strike against Fulham, who were also promoted from the Championship last season after finishing fourth and winning the play-offs.

Bamford then netted the winner in a Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United before securing his first Premier League hat-trick in a masterclass over Aston Villa.

Liz Cope, chief marketing officer, Bristol Street Motors said: “Supporting the PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Award is a privilege.

"The accolade highlights the high calibre of talent currently demonstrated by the players, while acknowledging achievements throughout the season."
