Blackpool will look to remain undefeated in March when they play their last game of the month on Saturday, hosting a Plymouth Argyle side who have only won three in their last 10 games.

A win for the hosts could extend their stay in the play-off places, whereas three points for Argyle could all but confirm their safety in League One

Most recently, Blackpool cruised past Peterborough United at Bloomfield Road to move into the play-off places.

Jerry Yates opened the scoring in the first minute, picking up the ball 20-yards out from goal to shoot and find the bottom corner.

On the stroke of halftime, Joe Ward equalised for the visitors with a fantastic volley, past Chris Maxwell, into the bottom corner.

In the 52nd minute, Yates bagged his second of the night as he buried the ball from the penalty spot.

Just six minutes later, Luke Garbutt sealed the victory and the three points as the ball flew into the top corner, taking a slight deflection on the way.

On Saturday, Plymouth won their first game in five when they hosted Bristol Rovers at Home Park.

Niall Ennis opened the scoring in the seventh minute, drilling the ball home from close range, past a sea of Bristol defenders.

The striker then grabbed his second on the stroke of halftime. Ennis turned beautifully before smashing the ball into the bottom corner to secure the three points.

CJ Hamilton and Kevin Stewart are all also unavailable.

Ones to watch

Blackpool - Jerry Yates

He’s made 33 starts so far this season and has scored 14 goals and assisting three times. With three goals so far in March, Yates will look to get back on the scoresheet following his brace on Tuesday night.

Plymouth Argyle - Luke Jephcott

The centre-forward has 16 goals in 33 appearances but is without a goal since the start of February when he scored a brace against Portsmouth. His eye for goal will be a real danger to the Blackpool defence.
