Charlton Athletic look to continue their unbeaten start at home when they host Portsmouth in EFL League One action.

The Addicks defeated Exeter City 4-2 last time out, making six this season without a loss at the Valley, sitting 14th in the table.

For Pompey, they are fourth, 12 points adrift of an automatic playoff place and a 1-1 drew against Fleetwood Town extended their winless run to three matches.

Team news

Miles Leaburn also has an ankle issue that will keep him out for quite some time after it was discovered that he had suffered ligament damage and is set to see a specialist this week.

Portsmouth

Manager Danny Cowley will be boosted by the return to training of Tom Lowery, who had a hamstring injury and Joe Rafferty, who was dealing with a stomach issue.

Louis Thompson will continue to be sidelined with a leg injury. Denver Hume is in contention after another successful appearance in the Hampshire Senior Cup.

Likely line-ups

Charlton Athletic: Wollacott; Sessegnon, Inniss, O'Connell, Egbo; Kirk, Dobson, Fraser, Rak-Sakyi; Aneke, Stockley

Portsmouth: Griffiths; Robertson, Raggett, Morrison, Ogilvie; Koroma, Morrell, Pack, Dale; Scarlett, Bishop

Key players

Scott Fraser (Charlton Athletic)

The 28-year old arrived at the Valley in the summer from Ipswich Town, where he had scored just once in 15 appearances for the Tractor Boys, but he has already tripled that output in 21 appearances with the Addicks.

Fraser is an experienced player in the third tier, having previously played for Burton Albion and Milton Keynes Dons.

Colby Bishop (Portsmouth)

Having been a prolific goal-scorer over four years with Accrington Stanley, scoring 32 times over 109 appearances, the center-forward made the switch to the South Coast and has been a hit so far, finsing the back of the net eight times.
