On Saturday afternoon, Huish Park will play host to an exciting National League clash between Yeovil Town and Solihull Moors, with both sides at complete opposite ends of the league table after twelve matches.

For the hosts, Yeovil Town are badly in need of a change in form, winning just one league match all season so far, which was back at the end of August. However, they have drew four of their previous five league games but currently sit 21st in the table.

As for Solihull Moors, they have lost just once in their previous six league matches, and are unbeaten in their last two games. This run has also saw the club pick up big wins against both Torquay United and Altrincham, and they will be keen to extend that run at the weekend.

The home side will continue to be without Gime Toure, as he is currently undergoing the second of a three match ban, following a red card against Southend United

Manager Chris Hargreaves will also be without long-term absentee Callum Rowe but Sam Perry returned last time out and could make his first start since recovering from a concussion. Yeovil made four changes last time out and despite their draw, are likely to make further changes on Saturday afternoon.

  • Team news - Solihull Moors

As for the visitors, they will be boosted with the return of club captain Kyle Storer, after missing the victory over Wealdstone through suspension.

Elsewhere, manager Neal Ardley will continue to be without Ryan Boot, and Joey Jones due to injury, however Alex Gudger is back from a long-term injury and will be pushing to keep his place in the starting eleven. Winger Ryan Barnett will also be looking to kick on after being named as September's player of the month at the club.

  • Expected line-ups

Yeovil Town

Grant Smith (GK) ; Morgan Williams, Chiori Johnson, Joshua Staunton, Owen Bevan ; Lawson D'Ath, Matt Worthington, Max Hunt, Sam Pearson ; Charlie Wakefield, Malachi Linton (4-4-2)

Solihull Moors

Louie Moulden (GK) ; James Clarke, Callum Howe, Alex Gudger, Ben Coker ; Callum Maycock, Jamey Osborne ; Ryan Barnett, Joe Sbarra, Andrew Dallas ; Alex Reid (4-2-3-1)

  • Key players

Sam Pearson (Yeovil Town)

One player that will certainly be of interest to Neal Ardley's side, will be forward Sam Pearson. The 20-year-old is currently on loan from Championship side Bristol City and was the goalscorer for Yeovil during their draw against Dorking Wanderers last time out.

Pearson has scored two league goals so far this season and was rewarded with having his initial loan deal extended by the Championship side. He is a player that will always look to get his team on the front foot and will be a constant threat for Neal Ardley's side as proven by his performance last time out.

Ryan Barnett (Solihull Moors)

Fresh off the back of winning the club's monthly player of the month award, winger Ryan Barnett will be keen to secure his first league goal of the season during the trip to Huish Park at the weekend.

Despite not scoring so far, the 23-year-old has contributed with roughly six assists to date and has proven to be a constant handful for opposition defences this season. He is someone that like Pearson, is a workhorse and is a constant threat whenever the ball is at his feet.
