Liam Rosenior takes charge of his first home game as manager of Hull City as the Tigers host Reading in the final match for both teams before the World Cup break.

The former Hull and Reading defender garnered a point in his first match in the dugout as the Yorkshire side drew 0-0 against Millwall as they look to make it three games unbeaten.

The Royals suffered a 2-0 defeat to promotion contenders Watford and are winless in four to sit 14th in the EFL Championship table.

Team news

Hull City

Leading scorer Oscar Estupinan will serve the first of his three-match ban after appeals to overturn his red card against Millwall were denied.

Vaughn Covil, Callum Elder, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Benjamin Tetteh and Harvey Vale remain out.

The Royals will be without Tom McIntyre as the central defender picked up a calf problem in training earlier this week and missed the defeat to Watford on Tuesday.

Midfielder Joe Lumley is also set to miss out after damaging ankle ligaments in midweek, but he is expected to return for the first game back from the World Cup break against Coventry.

Sam Hutchinson is set to return to the starting lineup, but Femi Azeez, Scott Dann, Liam Moore, Naby Sarr and Dejan Tetek are all still sidelined.

Key players

Lewie Coyle (Hull City)

Tom Ince (Reading)
