Following Fast Lane, Brock Lesnar is now set to face a different opponent then what was originally planned, after rumors stated that Bray Wyatt and his family were going to face off against the Beast at the grandest stage of them all at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas, something which seemed certain considering the events that unfolded inside the Royal Rumble.

Not many wrestling fans wanted to see this match as Wyatt has not been booked strongly as of late, especially after last night’s Fast Lane event, where he and his family lost to the Titans. A team of Ryback, Big Show and Kane, two of which are on the verge of retiring and the other is not used correctly used which made the Wyatt's look incredibly weak.

The original plan for the main event match was for Wyatt to interfere and cost Lesnar the championship again, but this was changed at the last minute because the WWE apparently have other plans for the former UFC fighter.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4wonline.com :

The reason the Wyatts didn’t interfere in the Fast Lane main event is because Brock’s Wrestlemania opponent has been changed to Dean Ambrose

This is much better than the original plan in this authors opinion, but is Ambrose ready for such a big WrestleMania match? Ambrose put in a great effort at last nights event, but will fans believe he could actually defeat the beast!

If this is the direction they are going then it is great for the 'Lunatic Fringe' as Lesnar could be called WWE's biggest star at the moment, especially with all the injuries, which means Ambrose would be heading into one of the biggest matches at this years 'Mania.

The two of these guys working together would be great for the fans to see as they are two of the most popular superstars on the roster, and both men could benefit from the feud, plus the though of Paul Heyman and Ambrose having promo battles is amazing.

Lesnar is running out of top tier talent to work with, and fans want to see fresh feuds and new matches rather than the same thing re-hashed and repeated, that's what this feud could bring and Ambrose certainly has more credibility than Bray Wyatt at this point, so he would make a more worthy competitor.

There is little doubt that the match itself would be entertaining, as both men are great workers with very physical hard hitting styles, the WWE could even put a stipulation on this match to really make the most of their styles and aggression, but that will remain to be seen.

Do you think Ambrose is a sensible opponent for Lesnar at WrestleMania?
