Nigeria's technical adviser, Gernot Rhor has invited a host of familiar faces to the super eagles to do battle with their Tanzania counterpart. The match scheduled to hold at the Akwa Ibom international stadium, Uyo on saturday 3rd september sees the super eagles line up for the first time under the new technical adviser.

Super eagles captain John Mikel Obi is joined in the team by Leicester city's record signing Ahmed Musa, Odion Igahlo and Victor Moses forming a premier league quartet. Also Emmanuel Daniel and Carl Ikeme and npfl allstar goalie Ikechukwu Ezenwa will do battle for the gloves.

Rhor, who was a defender in his hay days picked a strong defensive based which include Leon Balogun, Elderson Echiejile, Musa Mohammed. Though the match is a dead rubber fixture, Rhor hopes to use the match to fine tune preparations for the Russia 2018 world cup qualifiers against Zambia in october.
