He's not been at the club long - arriving from La Liga side Malaga in January - but Nordin Amrabat has already settled straight into the confident and relaxed atmosphere that surrounds Vicarage Road this season.

Other duties

Speaking to the Watford Weekend Preview Show on Hornets PlayerHD, the Moroccan was fresh off the back of his country's successful qualification to the 2017 AFCON in Gabon. Two wins over Cape Verde assured Morocco's passage through to the tournamet proper, but Amrabat admits that he's excited about the return of Premier League football, stressing that it's "great to be back" ahead of Watford's trip to face Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will surely be out for revenge, after Quique Sanchez Flores' side dispatched the North London club out of the FA Cup last month. The surprise 2-1 victory for the Hornets essentially ended Arsenal's season by taking away their last chance at silverware this campaign. The result also meant that Arsenal's attempt to win an incredible three FA Cups on the spin, was over, as the Hornets began planning their trip to Wembley Stadium and a semi-final clash with Crystal Palace.

A dish best served cold

Amrabat knows the significance of the previous result, calling Saturday's fixture a "big game" and highlighting the fact that Arsenal will "want revenge" after the FA Cup. The Moroccan also knows that despite winning last time these two sides met, the game will be no walk in the park, and he was quick to point out that Arsenal are a "big team with big players", before suggesting that despite the Hornets having "lots of confidence", the clash at the Emirates will be a "different game".

In all fairness, Arsene Wenger's side will always be favourites for a game like this, but with nothing left to play for will the momentum drop? It's hard to see how the Arsenal players can get fired up for a game of little significance.

Distractions

"Preparation has not been normal"

- Nordin Amrabat

Preparation for the tie has not been ideal, as like Amrabat, many of the Watford players have been away from the training ground representing their national sides in various competitions. This not something that concerns the 29-year-old, however, and he was quick to suggest that despite not having "normal preparation", all the players will be ready and able to "completely focus on the game".

"When kick off comes", Amrabat says, all the players will know "exactly" what they have to do. From the evidence we have seen from Flores' side this season, this is a statement that is easy to trust. Watford have been well-managed and have followed Flores' instructions to the letter all season -- an obedience that has bred success. Come Saturday afternoon, it would be difficult to bet against the Hornets doing the same thing again.
