Hull City have made changes for their huge home clash with Gillingham - many of them enforced. Tom Eaves and Regan Slater come into the starting XI, with Sean McLoughin, Callum Jones and Ahmed Salam included on the bench.

  • Goalkeeper

Matt Ingram - An ever present in the side, Ingram has been first choice for the majority of the season. Then unfortunate own goal last week against Shrewsbury Town will hopefully be a one-off and another vocal performance is needed from the Hull City shot stopper.

  • Defence

Lewie Coyle - Captain, and has come into excellent form during the latter half of the season. His assist for Keane Lewis-Potter's goal last home game against Oxford United was glorious to see.

Alfie Jones - Dropping into defence, the versatile holding midfielder deputizes for the missing Reece Burke

Jacob Greaves - A remarkable breakthrough season for the young defender, who continues to impress each week. He will need to be at his best today.

Callum Elder - Very much a player who is as important going forward as he is at the back, his routines with Honeyman need to be on point today.

  • Midfield

Regan Slater - HUGE game for the on-loan Sheffield United midfielder. Mostly used as a substitute this season, this is his big chance.

Greg Docherty - In great form, and the spark in the last few home games. Will need to be at his best today against a physical Gillingham side.

George Honeyman - Set pieces will be key today - and his energy will be, too. One of the players of the season so far, and City fans will be hoping his good form continues today.

  • Forwards:

Mallik Wilks - Top goal scorer for the side, and after a barren spell has gone on a great goalscoring run. Could be the matchwinner today.

Keane Lewis-Potter - The home town boy was back to his best against Oxford - will this be continued today?

Tom Eaves - Huge game for Eaves against his old club. His season as been blighted with injuries, but this is his big chance to take the striker's shirt off the absent Josh Magennis.

  • Notable substitutes

Ahmed Salam - Deservedly on the bench after signing a new three year deal this week. An exciting talent who City fans will be hoping to see get game time today.

Callum Jones - After injury stalled his season, this is big for the youngster to be back on the bench. Could be used should Slater not take his chance.

City fans - What do we make of the team?
