Third-placed Reading are looking to continue their strong momentum tomorrow evening as they face recently relegated Norwich City.

Norwich currently sit in second place in the Championship, so will be a tough test for the Royals who have raised a lot of eyebrows with how they have started this season, with most predicting them to be near the foot of the table before a ball had been kicked.

The Canaries however are meeting expectations, they are unbeaten in their last nine games in all competitions and are closing in on top spot, finding themselves one point off top of the table Sheffield United.

Team news

Reading will be without Andy Yiadom after he picked up an injury in Saturday's 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town. Manager Paul Ince also confirmed that Naby Sarr will be out for 6-7 weeks, whilst Abdul Baba Rahman is likely to be out for a month.

Norwich have now fresh injury concerns ahead of tomorrow's clash, with Todd Cantwell potentially returning to the squad after being omitted on Saturday for Norwich's 0-1 win at Blackpool.

Likely lineups

Reading:

Lumley; McIntyre, Holmes, Hutchinson, Guinness-Walker, Fornah, Hendrick, Ince, Hoilett, Joao, Carroll.

Norwich:

Krul; Byram, Hanley, Omobamidele, Aarons, McLean, Nunez, Hernandez, Ramsey, Sargent, Pukki.

The 30-year-old has been excellent for the Royals this season, being pivotal to their unexpected start of the season, contributing two goals and two assists so far. His work rate is his best attribute however, chasing down anyone sight.

One that may have gone slightly under the radar, Byram has slotted into the back four for the last six games and has performed admirably, helping the team only concede four goals in that time, whilst scoring one too.
