Solihull Moors have completed the signing of Wolves U23s goalkeeper Louie Moulden on a six month loan deal.

The 20-year-old joins the Moors until January 2nd and is expected to provide swift competition to fellow goalkeeper Ryan Boot next season.

Moulden spent last season, on loan at National League South side Ebbsfleet United and was a key member of the squad that were beaten by Dorking Wanderers in the play-off final.

He began his youth career at both Manchester City and Liverpool before signing a two-year deal at Wolves in July 2021. He has previously had a loan spell at Gloucester City and featured a number of times for Wolves on the bench. Moulden has also represented England at youth level up to the U19s and made appearances for England’s U17s at the European Championships in 2019.

Moulden is quick off his line and is a very good, ball-playing goalkeeper which is a crucial quality for a modern day keeper to have and he’s expected to test Ryan Boot to the max next season.
