Just two days back, Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias left the game against the Kansas City Royals with left groin tightness. He was hoping to be back for the series against the Chicago White Sox, but that will not be the case.

It was announced by the Tigers on Tuesday that the 25-year-old would take a seat because of that groin issue. Andrew Romine will start in his place and is batting ninth in the lineup.

Here is the Tigers lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox:
1. Anthony Gose, CF
2. Ian Kinsler, 2B
3. Miguel Cabrera, 1B
4. Victor Martinez, DH
5. J.D. Martinez, RF
6. Yoenis Cespedes, LF
7. Alex Avila, C
8. Nick Castellanos, 3B
9. Andrew Romine, SS
Pitcher: RH Shane Greene

This injury is not anything to worry about and one game without the super infielder will not break Detroit's season, so it was a smart move by the Tigers to sit Iglesias.

If the 5-foot, 11-inch fielder would have attempted to play in the game, one tough play could have knocked him out for a very significant time. That would be the last thing that Iglesias and the Tigers want this early in the season.

Iglesias is batting .354/.400/.494 with one home run and three RBI. The right-handed hitter has played in 25 games and has taken 79 at-bats.

Andrew Romine, who will replace Iglesias on Tuesday, has played in 17 games and stepped to the plate just 11 times this season. However, he is slashing .545/.643/.545 with one RBI. The 29-year-old has been in the league for six-years and averages a .244 batting average.
