The Toronto Raptors' barrage of moves continues as James Johnson has agreed to a two-year, $5 million deal with the team. This will be Johnson's second tenure with the Raptors. He played for them from 2010 to 2012.

Johnson, 27, was a mid-season acquisition by the Memphis Grizzlies, and he really shined in 52 games of play last season. He averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks on 18.4 minutes per game.

Toronto continues to make moves to shore up its bench as the organization previously re-signed Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson. This will be the team's seventh move this off-season. General manager, Masai Ujiri, has been extremely active and wants to build on the playoff team Toronto had last year.

Johnson is a 6'9" power forward/small forward with excellent size and athleticism. He would give the Raptors much needed depth in the frontcourt.

The Memphis Grizzlies had interest in re-signing Johnson. The Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets had interest in him too, but he chose to sign with Toronto instead.

With Toronto being the most active team this summer thus far, it will be interesting to see what its next move would be.
