Ray Allen, who has been considering retirement, is now leaning toward returning for a 19th season and joining the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.

Allen is reportedly in China until July 27, and he will make an official decision once he returns to the states.

Ray Allen played with LeBron James in Miami for two seasons, where he won a championship and has the urge to join forces with James once again.

The Cavaliers have already agreed to terms with two ex-Heat players, Mike Miller and James Jones. They’ve had interest in Ray Allen ever since they reacquired LeBron James.

Ray Allen averaged 9.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game last season with the Heat. He will provide more three-point shooting off the bench for Cleveland if he does indeed decide to sign.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are still in the mist of Kevin Love trade rumors as they continue to gather trading chips to utilize in a potential deal. The Chicago Bulls are making their own push for Love, but the Cavaliers are still considered as front-runners.
