The Kings wrapped up their trip to China, with a loss to the Nets. It was the second straight loss, where the Kings played the Nets in both Shanghai and China. The Kings dropped this match in overtime 129-117.

Mirza Teletovic scored 22 points in the outing, leading the team. Mason Plumlee also knocked in 18 for the Nets. For Sacramento, Ben McLemore scored 22, and Rudy Gay put up 21. Gay also had 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Jason Thompson led the Kings in rebounds with 13. McLemore shot 7-13 from the field, and Gay shot 9-18, Gay played in 32 minutes compared to McLemore's 40.

"We did some good things offensively," Kings coach Mike Malone said. "We competed. We played hard, but we just have to do a much better job on defense to have a chance to win in the very difficult Western Conference."

The Kings still have a long way ahead of them, considering it's only preseason. One thing to note is that Ramon Sessions started at point guard in the outing, leaving Collison to come off the bench. Collison chipped in 18 points, 6 assists off the bench compared to Sessions' 9 points,  2 assists.

"I'm proud of the way the young guys played. I'm proud of the way our team competed," said Nets coach Lionel Hollins. "They are growing in that area of competitiveness and toughness and trying to wear down the other team."

Now that the Kings head home, they'll have 3 more preseason games to gear up for the regular season. They play Maccabi Haifa, the Spurs, and the Lakers. They'll only be home for their matchup against Maccabi Haifa.
