The Kings secured yet another win over the young Timberwolves. DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 31 points, 18 rebounds and Andrew Wiggins led the T-Wolves with 29 points. The wolves played a zone at an attempt to slow down Cousins. It got them to a 4-point lead at the end of the half.

"I told our guys, 'Our best zone offense is our defense. You get stops, you turn them over, you gain rebounds, let's get out and run and put pressure on them,'" Malone said. "They shouldn't be able to set up their zone after a missed shot, and I thought in that third quarter, we were able to get run outs."

The Kings did do well, especially Cousins. It seems that nearly no one can control Boogie this season as he is just on a roll on a nightly basis. "Cousins is a load down low," Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders said. "I don't know if there is a better center in the league. The way he's playing, he's got his head screwed on straight. He seems to be very focused. I can't fault our guys after what we've gone through for the last three weeks with the injuries."

The Kings now stand at an 8-5 record with 3 road games left of their 4-game road streak. They play the Pelicans on Tuesday and will be one great game between Cousins and Anthony Davis. Davis has been a force as well this season and those two are arguably the best big men so far to start the year.
