The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-86 Wednesday night in the first matchup between the top two draft picks from the 2014 NBA draft.

Number one draft pick Andrew Wiggins scored 14 points to go along with eight rebounds, while second overall draft pick Jabari Parker scored 11 points with seven rebounds. Wiggins was drafted by Cleveland and then traded to Minnesota as part of the Kevin Love trade.

Corey Brewer led the Timberwolves in scoring with 19 points to go along with six rebounds, three assists, three steals, but seven turnovers.

Thaddeus Young only contributed three points on 1-for-10 shooting in his first game back after missing multiple games because of the death of his mother. The production is the lowest of the season for Young, who the Timberwolves need to consistently produce and be a team leader to help guide the younger guys.

Brandon Knight and Larry Sanders led the Bucks with 15 points each, with Knight picking up most of his points at the costless throw line, going 8-for-8 from the line. Knight shot just 3-of-11 from the field, as Zach LaVine was doing a solid job defensively.

This was a close game for the first three quarters, but the Bucks exploded in the fourth quarter, scoring 31 points to Minnesota's 16.

The Bucks improve to 9-7 on the season, which is fourth best in the Eastern Conference. The Timberwolves fall to 3-10.

The Timberwolves will look to bounce back on Friday when they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers. The Bucks also play on Friday, at Detroit, who lost to the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, 104-98.

GAME MVP: Larry Sanders (Milwaukee)
