The Toronto Raptors have shocked critics all season long and continued their winning ways with a victory in Atlanta. Toronto did a great job of spreading the ball and executing from the three-point line.

Toronto exerted their dominance against Atlanta by ending the first quarter with a 34-24 lead. Atlanta shot 41 percent from the three-point line, but it wasn't enough to top the Raptors at 48 percent. DeMar DeRozan led all scorers for the Raptors with 27 points. Lou Williams came off the bench and torched his former Hawks team with 22 points on 54 percent shooting. Greivis Vasquez added 21 off the bench and shot a phenomenal 66 percent. Kyle Lowry shot a dismal 25 percent but still had a double-double with 14 points and 13 assists.

Atlanta forced two ties in the second half, but it was not enough to obtain the lead. Toronto was able to answer after every Hawk possession. Point guard Jeff Teague led all scorers for the Hawks with 24 points. He also added 12 assists. Al Horford was feeling it all game long, as he had 23 points off of 68 percent shooting. Kyle Korver had 19 points and was 66.7 percent from the three-point line. Paul Millsap failed to find his shot all night, as he only had eight points.

It is early in the season, but the Toronto Raptors look like a force to be reckoned with. They currently stand at 13-2 and are in first place in the Eastern Conference. Head coach Dwane Casey is making this team look extremely dangerous and are currently riding a six-game winning streak. Their next game is at home on November 28 versus the Dallas Mavericks.

The Atlanta Hawks fall to 7-6 and will continue their three-game home stand on November 28 versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
