Gerald Green scored a game-high 24 points while shooting six out of 11 from downtown to help the Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets 120-112. Eric Bledsoe added 21 points and 10 assists for the Suns, who have now won five of their last six games.

Markieff Morris chalked up 15 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists while Marcus Morris registered 14 points for Phoenix, who shot 51 percent from the field against the Nuggets' 43 percent. The Suns showed full display of teamwork, as they dished out 27 assists on 45 made baskets.

P.J. Tucker and Alex Len each had 10 points to help the Suns put an end to the Nuggets' five-game winning streak. Wilson Chandler led the way for the Nuggets with 19 points and seven rebounds. Ty Lawson and Timofey Mozgov each recorded with a double-double for the Nuggets, who out-rebounded the Suns 47-41. Arron Afflalo unloaded 18 markers for the Nuggets, who shot 32 percent from the three-point line. Denver was only down seven heading into the final frame, but Phoenix made a 17-8 run behind Gerald Green to stretch the lead to 16 midway through the fourth quarter. The Nuggets tried to comeback with an 8-2 run to cut the lead down to 10, but the Suns proved to be too much, as they scored a string of baskets to put the game on ice.

As expected, there was plenty of offensive in this game from both sides. The Suns were without backup point guard Isaiah Thomas, but Gerald Green filled in for him.

The Phoenix Suns scored their 1oth victory of the season, as they improve to a 10-6 record, while the Denver Nuggets fall to 7-8.

This game was the first of a home-and-home between the two. Both teams will now fly to Denver, Colorado to play each other once more on Friday, November 28. The Nuggets will get the chance to get revenge in front of their home crowd.
